Where to paste it
WordPress
Install the free “WPCode” (or “Insert Headers and Footers”) plugin → Code Snippets → Header & Footer → paste into Footer → Save.
Wix
Settings → Custom Code (under Advanced) → + Add Custom Code → paste → apply to All pages, place in Body – end → Apply.
Squarespace
Settings → Advanced → Code Injection → paste into Footer → Save. (Needs a Business plan or higher.)
Shopify
Online Store → Themes → ⋯ → Edit code → theme.liquid → paste just before </body> → Save.
Webflow
Site settings → Custom code → Footer code → paste → Save → Publish.
GoDaddy Website Builder
Add Section → HTML → paste the code → Done → Publish.
Test it
- Open your website on your phone — you’ll see the chat button in the corner.
- Ask a question about your hours or services and check the answer.
- Leave your name and number in the chat — the lead should arrive in your email within a minute.
